Tami (Tamryn) Ellison has more than fifteen years experience working as an educational and technology consultant in both the public and private sectors. As Director of Operations for United Learning Center, a division of the Bronner Group, she oversaw the implementation of multi-year, multi-million dollar computer training program for the City of Chicago. As a multimedia and public television producer, Tami has developed educational programming for both adult learners and young children, including: Digging into the Past, How to Create a Great School Website, The Inventors' Series, ZomeTools instructional DVD/video and most recently evaluating and developing educational/edutainment content for a children's virtual world product for a leading developer of children's edutainment software. Her clients have included: Kodak, GeoVideo Networks, RocketVOX, Bronner Group, Compedia, ZomeTools, Cyvent, DNAStar, Disney/Lightpoint Entertainment, International Biotechnologies, Israel Government Tourist Office, and United Learning Centers.
Ms. Ellison brings her extensive knowledge and creativity, as well as hands-on laboratory bench skills as a former research scientist, to developing and implementing teacher professional development training programs and workshops, and direct classroom instruction of children in both preschool settings and K-5 enrichment programs. Tami holds a Master of Science degree in Developmental Model Systems from the Laboratory for Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology at the University of Illinois.
